Attention: Windows Vista is required for these hacks to work properly.
This section is entirely devoted to teaching hacks that can be used to alter Windows Vista to better fit your needs.
This hack will allow you to install Windows DreamScene.
1. Click the Start Button, type Windows Update in the Search Box, and then press Enter.
2. On the top left of the Windows Update screen, press Check for Updates. Windows will now search online for any security updates as well as new Ultimate Extras.
3. When the search is completed, click View available Extras to see what is available for download.
4. Now locate and check Windows DreamScene.
5. Now click Install, and you are done.
By disabling aero glass you will increase your computers performance
1. Begin by right-clicking the desktop and selecting Personalize from the menu.
2. Now select Windows Color and Appearance from the top of the list in the Personalization window.
3. On the bottom of the window, click Open classic appearance properties for more color options.
4. When the appearance Settings finish loading, select Windows Aero Basic from the color scheme list.
5. Click OK and you are finished disabling Aero Glass.
- In order for this to work you have to do this exactly as described.
1. Click the Start button, type msconfig in the Search Box, and now press Enter
2. When the System Configuration Utility loads, click the Boot tab.
3. Now locate the No GUI boot box, and select it.
4. Click OK, and then reboot your pc.
